So far so good. Lamara with customer service is the only one I care to talk to.

She is very helpful and up front with me. If and when I end up having a problem, I will update this post.

And You Won't!!! If you read the "complaints" about this or any other lender, you will find ONE common thread.

The complainers FAIL to pay on time and cause consequences, all the way up to a repo. They come here to throw their foot stomping temper tantrum because THEY just can't stand those consequences THEY brought upon themselves! One would think at least a few of these sorry people would realize that but deadbeats as a whole just don't have much in the IQ department! The lender did their job in funding your loan, which is what you wanted.

Now its up to you to do your part, which I'm confident you can handle. Remember, paying on time is NOT optional. No matter what, that payment needs to be made on or before the due date. Again, one would think these serial deadbeats here would realize that, but as I said earlier, a deadbeat's IQ and room temperature go hand-in-hand.

These sorry deadbeats get all upset over the repo's THEY CAUSE, the collection calls THEY CAUSE, the calls to their references THEY CAUSE. There are no special arrangements, changing the due date or any of the other games the deadbeats play. Additionally, this or any other lender is in business to "help" you, me or anybody else! Their business is to fund loans with our responsibility to pay them back with each and every payment on time.

When you do that, you will NEVER have any problems with them. Be a cut above the whining, sorry deadbeats. Just pay on time and you will not have any problems. Come back here regularly and get some laughs at the whining of the deadbeats who cause the consequences they are in.

Here's your first laugh...just watch as these sorry deadbeats write back, "you must work for them" because they have absolutely zero intelligent rebuttal for anything I've said here! By the way, I don't work for "them" or any other lender!

I agree. I am going to set up auto pay so that we don't have this problem.

I have the money.

I think everyone should do autopay. If you make the choice to ask for a loan, you need to hold up your end of the deal

Actually, you are completely WRONG. I paid on time, every time.

My car was totaled and the insurance company paid my car off directly to TD. They payment they made was $1700 MORE than the loan payoff and TD NEVER contacted me to refund the money. It has been 5 months and despite MANY calls and a complaint to the BBB, they are still caught up in red tape.

Not my fault in any way. They are scammers, thinking people will not realize they are owed money.

Not necessarily the case to say "you will NEVER have any problems": I have never been late on my payments - i understand the process and how to limit the interest I will pay over the life of the loan. However, their terrible site has had issues numerous times and I have not been able to make my additional payments (beyond those established for auto-pay) - sometimes more than 3 weeks later i can finally make the additional payment.

Because I could not make the additional payments on my schedule, this results in additional interest I was required to pay. Their rep did not seem to understand how this process works. Additionally, I still see how terribly run this company appears to be. They have possibly the worst setup website I have seen.

What is the deal with not allowing statements when an individual enrolls in auto-pay? I like to track the progress and make payments in addition to the auto-scheduled pmts. Can they not have one page that summarizes your payments along with running totals of what was applied against principal/interest and what the current balance is? See my post below: Simply put - do not waste your time using TD Auto if you enjoy the convenience of handling everything online through a nice organized web page.

Their website is so poorly laid-out and managed that you will have no idea what your payments are and how they are being applied (principal vs interest). They have a handy secure message option on the website, but they are incapable of responding via email through this option - you will only receive auto-replies that include symbols making it appear as if this whole thing is a scam (still not convinced it isn't at this point).

These auto-replies are only capable of saying TD Auto cannot respond via email and you must call them... which is a waste of time, unless you enjoy sitting on the phone for an hour to remedy absolutely nothing.

Outside of my response below - I do agree with you though. The vast majority of complaints are from individuals who out-did themselves with the loans and then wonder why they end up in trouble for not paying it back. Their stories also will continue to change overtime to remain the victim.
